Is it weird to want to take a walk in Daniel Woodling’s artwork? It’d be neat to shed that pesky third dimension and have a wander in his sweetly-textured forests. Maybe cheer up that glum old bear. Working under the name Dinobot, Heather L. Sheppard creates concept art and environments suffused with warmth and light. She’s in her 4th year working in the games industry for clients like Atari, EA, Warner Brother, Sega and such. It’s real purdy stuff.
Fair warning: Do not look through Clare Winfield’s food photography portfolio if you’re the least bit hungry. Carbonmade will not be held responsible for your stuffing everything you can find into your piehole.

Marion Hanania is a super-talented designer in gaie Paris who specializes in les souliers. Clearly her eye for fashion runs deeper than her fancy footwork as she also crafted this entire 50s-inspired outfit for La Redoute. The cape even got featured in a French Elle editorial piece. Sweet stuff.
Superduo!
Not only does Hunter Heckroth have a super alliterative and therefore awesome name, but his colors are pretty darn sweet. His paintings and illustrations are jam-packed with activity which makes it fun to sit and pick out tiny morsels of detail. Neat stuff.
One of the best parts of poring through portfolios is checking out the gems often tucked away on sketchbook pages. It’s cool to see how the larger works come to be and to get a glimpse of how the artist’s mind works. Dominic Damien specializes in mixed media on canvas and works out of an unheated garage in Grandview, Ohio. He displays his moleskine pages in his portfolio as proudly as his finished works.
Whether it’s the stark ghetto landscapes of Belgrade or the quiet moments between a couple, Irena Savicic uses her skills as a light designer to capture grainy wonderfulness in her analog photos.
